Business model innovation is getting more and more traction and there are new methodologies to help identify new business models, unfortunately tools to assist in this task are scarce. The difficulty is to have an application which respects all the constraints imposed by the methodology, without infringing onto the creative thought process. This project focused on a very intuitive paper based methodology and reproduced it with a digital artifact. The design focus is set on creating a very intuitive visual prototype. This document traces the design choices and results obtained, tracing the steps from brainstorming the prototype to its final testing. Strongly related to design process of such an application are the technical choices of working with complex data structures, therefore a secondary objective covering the impact of requirements changes on the evolution of future iterations is also discussed. Business model innovation is getting more and more traction and there are new methodologies to help identify new business models, unfortunately tools to assist in this task are scarce.
